Red vs. Blue: The Shisno Paradox DVD Release!

I cannot even begin to tell you how excited I am about this! I am a HUGE fan of Rooster Teeth (as I am sure many of you know with how I go on and on about their stuff...) and when they announced back in October that there was a new story in the Red vs. Blue universe, I almost lost my shit!

Unfortunately, I had a lot going on when November 6th came around and I never got around to getting the digital copy of Red vs. Blue: The Shisno Paradox. But I was not too upset as I knew I would be buying whatever DVD release they would release in the future. Well, out of sheer luck, I was blessed to review the newest story and they sent me the DVD!

Seriously guys... I squeaked and did a little dance when I got the package in the mail.

I remember the first time I ever watched Red vs Blue. I LOVE Halo and being able to watch something that provides humor in something I am obsessed with, how could I NOT be a fan??? And I am not the only one. There is a reason that Red vs. Blue is the longest running web-series to date.

Here is a bit of the synopsis before I go into my review.

We start our journey listening in on some medieval knights discussing the reason why they are there (if you are an RvB fan... you know), when out of nowhere, a portal opens. There is a cut-scene that takes us back to where we left off in season 15. Donut vanishes, Carolina decides to leave and check in on Washington, and Sister decides to join the rest in their search for pizza. Listen to their food discussions closely because there are some brilliant comments like, "You think that's gross? Just wait til you see where the condiments come out..." Chaos ensues and somehow the Reds and Blues are separated and scattered throughout time! And if you think that's bad, they now have been thrown in the middle of a "pissing match" between the Gods and Titans... because nothing is simple with the Reds and Blues.

Now you have to believe me when I say that Red vs. Blue: The Shisno Paradox is extremely hilarious. I promise I do not have a bias just because I love Rooster Teeth. If this sucked, I would be the first to tell you.

In the first 10 minutes, I found myself chuckling at the banter. I realized quickly how much I had been missing the Reds and Blues. Now don't get me wrong; there were definitely a couple of WTF moments, but if you have watch even one episode of RvB, you know that isn't out of the ordinary and adds to the character of the plot.

I plan on going back and watching it again very soon because I know there are some things, including easter eggs that I am sure I missed.

Make sure to get your copy of Red vs Blue: The Shisno Paradox tomorrow! For only $24.95, you can't go wrong!
